Our client is a brand experience, digital media, and medical communications agency. Operating at the intersection of creative strategy, healthcare expertise, and interactive technology, they craft digital solutions, web platforms, and medical engagements for global clients across the APAC region. To support their expanding digital media and web-based initiatives, they are seeking a creative and technically skilled Multimedia Designer (Web Design & Development). Based full-time on-site in Batam, Indonesia, this role merges creative UX/UI execution with frontend development and CMS management to deliver seamless digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Web & Asset Design: Design and develop visually engaging websites, landing pages, and interactive multimedia assets that reflect the brand's mission.
- Visual Content Creation: Produce high-quality digital visual assets using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch.
- Frontend Customization: Build, customize, and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
- UX/UI & Accessibility: Apply core UX/UI best practices to build responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible user interfaces.
- CMS & Content Management: Actively manage and update site content across content management platforms.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize site designs for SEO, loading speed, responsiveness, and long-term scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align design execution with overall digital strategy.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Interactive Media, Design, or a related field.
- Core Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in web design, multimedia design, and frontend development.
- Design Stack: Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, etc.).
- Frontend Code: Strong hands-on coding skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- CMS Platforms: Proven track record in building and managing websites via CMS platforms.
- Technical Fundamentals: Solid grasp of UX/UI principles, responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, SEO principles, and performance optimization.
- Mindset: Highly detail-oriented, proactive, self-driven, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have:
- Practical experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap, React, or Vue.js.
- Skills in motion graphics and animation to enhance visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
