Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Transaction Monitoring Specialist to oversee cryptocurrency wallet activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves auditing fund flows, investigating flagged account activities, identifying risks, and supporting the preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
The ideal candidate has prior experience in exchange risk control and transaction monitoring, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in shifts while collaborating effectively with global teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Regularly audit the inflow and outflow of funds in cryptocurrency wallets to ensure all transactions comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain records of fund circulation, promptly updating and organizing related data to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Identify abnormal transactions or potential risks, report them to supervisors in a timely manner, and assist in taking necessary actions.
- Monitor trading activities of cryptocurrency wallets to ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Investigate user account activities flagged by the transaction monitoring system to ensure comprehensive analysis and problem resolution.
- Evaluate investigation results, determine risk levels, and propose escalation measures when necessary.
- Draft Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), including the narrative section and submission materials.
- Support ad-hoc projects such as quality reviews, validation, updates, and training of transaction monitoring systems.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in exchange risk control review and transaction monitoring, with preliminary knowledge of exchanges and blockchain.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- The position has three shifts, with some shifts being night shifts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English required).
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, highly disciplined, results-oriented, and committed to compliance principles.
- Experience in effectively collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
