Role Overview
At Tentang Anak, we move fast because we serve 80 million Indonesian children and families whose needs can't wait. As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking a results-oriented and highly strategic VP of Offline Sales to lead our nationwide retail and distribution efforts. This role is responsible for driving the expansion and performance of our offline sales operations—including General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), Trade Marketing, and national distributor management—while ensuring that Tentang Anak products are consistently available, visible, and preferred across all key physical channels. This is a senior leadership role for someone with deep commercial acumen, strong execution rigor, and a proven track record of scaling businesses through offline channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Ownership & Sales Leadership Spearhead offline sales strategy and execution, owning the P&L and delivering aggressive revenue growth targets across GT, MT, and medical channels.
- Channel Strategy & Expansion Design and implement scalable channel strategies to increase penetration and optimize coverage, distribution, and trade spend effectiveness in both urban and rural markets.
- Distributor & Partner Management Strengthen distributor and partner networks to ensure strong execution at the ground level, including in-store visibility, availability, and sell-through.
- Operational Excellence Establish disciplined sales operations and route-to-market strategies that drive productivity, efficiency, and strong ROI.
- Team Development & Leadership Build, lead, and coach a high-performing sales organization with clear accountability and growth paths—across regional sales, field operations, and trade marketing.
- Data-Driven Forecasting & Reporting Drive a culture of performance and precision through robust forecasting, reporting, and sales analytics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to create synergy between commercial initiatives and consumer engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in high-growth FMCG or consumer goods environments, with deep expertise in offline trade (GT/MT) and national distributor management
- Proven ability to manage complex sales operations with a scale of IDR 100 billion/month or more
- Strategic thinker with sharp execution focus and a strong grasp of retail dynamics in Indonesia
- Comprehensive experience across various sales channels, including offline (modern trade, general trade, and distributor management).
- Demonstrated success in growing sales, meeting targets, and driving profitability.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and build a high-performing sales team.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, with strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working cross-functionally.
