VP of Finance Controller - Holding Company

Adecco Indonesia is currently representing a leading holding company in search for a VP of Finance Controller. This role serves as a strategic finance leadership position within the organization, responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, business performance management, financial reporting, governance, tax oversight, and finance operations across multiple business entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting executive decision-making through accounting, financial analysis, performance monitoring, and effective financial control across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process, ensuring alignment between corporate objectives and business unit requirements.
• Drive periodic forecasting exercises and financial projections, incorporating evolving business requirements and market conditions.
• Conduct strategic financial analysis and develop financial models to assess new business opportunities, investments, and key business initiatives.
• Oversee monthly business performance reporting and variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
• Monitor financial and operational performance across the organization, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and consolidated financial reports.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance practices across the organization and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records, general ledgers, and management reporting information.
• Support the identification and implementation of value creation initiatives, including cost optimization, operational efficiency improvements, and business growth opportunities.
• Oversee tax planning, tax reporting, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to applicable regulations while minimizing tax exposure.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, tax advisors, and other key external stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the finance team through KPI management, performance reviews, coaching, succession planning, and capability development initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Control, Audit, or related functions, including leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience within both Big 4/Advisory firm and a public listed company, holding company, diversified business group, multinational corporation, or organization with multiple subsidiaries/business units.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting, consolidation, and business performance management.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, internal controls, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior management and providing financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience leading finance transformation, process improvement, or performance optimization initiatives is highly preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven track record of leading, developing, and mentoring high-performing finance teams in a complex organizational environment.
