Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vice President of Commercial at From This Island, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The VP of Commercial will play a key leadership role by overseeing sales strategy and operations, leading sales teams, building strategic partnerships, and driving the company's commercial growth objectives in alignment with its mission and vision.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Lead commercial performance across online and offline channels to drive revenue growth.
- Translate business targets into clear sales strategies, plans, and execution.
- Manage sales performance, forecasting, and channel optimization.
- Ensure alignment between commercial activities and inventory, supply chain, and operations.
- Identify and develop new partnerships, accounts, and expansion opportunities.
- Monitor pricing, promotions, and profitability to optimize margins.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and product availability.
- Lead, manage, and develop the commercial team to achieve business targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial, sales, or business development roles (FMCG / Beauty / Retail preferred).
- Proven experience managing revenue targets and multi-channel sales performance.
- Strong understanding of offline and online sales channels, including GT, MT, and e-commerce.
- Experience in partnership development, account management, and market expansion.
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability.
- Hands-on leadership with the ability to drive execution and team performance.
- Analytical, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth environment.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
