Managing to execute overall strategy, growth, and performance of the messaging portfolio, including A2P SMS, CPaaS, and emerging digital communication channels. This role owns the end-to-end business, including P&L management, product development, sales, operations and monitoring performance.
Job Description:
- Define and execute the overall messaging business strategy
- Identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities in messaging and digital communications.
- Align messaging strategy with overall company objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with telecom operators, aggregators, OTT players, and enterprise clients.
- Lead negotiations for commercial agreements, interconnects, and wholesale messaging deals.
- Expand ecosystem partnerships (banks, fintech, e-commerce, enterprises).
- Own full P&L responsibility for the messaging business.
- Develop pricing strategies for A2P SMS, APIs, and value-added services.
- Oversee development and evolution of messaging products (SMS Firewall, CPaaS, Chat APIs, RCS, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
- Ensure competitive and scalable product offerings aligned with market demand.
- Lead innovation in areas such as fraud prevention, AI-driven messaging, and omnichannel communication.
- Monitor global and local messaging trends (OTT impact, regulatory changes, enterprise demand).
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and positioning.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Ensure compliance with telecom regulations, data privacy laws, and messaging policies.
- Manage relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
- Oversee anti-fraud measures (spam control, grey routes, firewall implementation).
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and quality of messaging platforms.
- Oversee vendor management and SLA performance.
- Optimize routing, delivery rates, and cost structures.
- Lead sales strategy for enterprise messaging solutions.
- Drive large enterprise deals and key account management.
- Engage with C-level executives, board members, and key internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular reporting on business performance, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree is preferable.
- Min 10 years managerial experiences
- Good knowledge of A2P Business and Ecosystems
- Experience working with OpCos, Regulator, Aggregators, and Merchants
- Good knowledge to create product and business related A2P Messaging
- Good understanding of A2P Business
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office application
