Job Summary

We are hiring a VP/Head-level People Manager within IT Corporate Technology to lead HR and workplace platforms, following the relocation of the current incumbent. Reporting to the SVP and partnering closely with the CHRO and CLRO, this role ensures stable, secure, and compliant delivery of core employee systems while creating a marvelous, seamless, and painless employee experience with measurable productivity uplift. The scope includes end-to-end ownership of key platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors (HRIS), ServiceNow for workflow automation and IT tooling, and Microsoft 365/O365, while scaling automation and AI adoption using UiPath and Gemini Enterprise.

A critical part of the mandate is to revisit, rationalize, and drive consolidation of internal legacy applications, reducing fragmentation and duplication across employee-facing tools. The role will define the target employee journey, simplify the application landscape, and modernize workflows so employees can get things done with minimal friction. It will also drive practical AI use cases for business users—such as employee self-service Q&A, document/email drafting and summarization, meeting insights and action tracking, enterprise knowledge search, and compliant legal/regulatory analysis support—implemented with strong governance and clear value outcomes.

Role Summary

Lead HR and workplace technology to deliver a seamless, painless, marvelous employee experience and measurable productivity uplift. Own core employee platforms (HRIS, workflow, productivity tools), scale automation and AI adoption, and rationalize/consolidate legacy internal apps to reduce fragmentation—leveraging IOH's existing strategic partnerships to accelerate outcomes while ensuring security, compliance, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Business Partnering: Align with CHRO/CLRO on priorities, roadmap, governance cadence, and outcomes; balance speed vs. risk/compliance.
  • Platform Ownership: Run and evolve key platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors/HRIS, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365) including reliability, release governance, integrations, and continuous improvement.
  • Automation & AI: Drive automation pipeline (ServiceNow + UiPath) and business-user AI adoption (Gemini Enterprise) with clear use cases, enablement, guardrails, and value tracking.
  • Tech Rationalisation: Lead application portfolio rationalisation and legacy app consolidation (retire/replace/modernize) to simplify employee journeys and reduce run cost/support burden, maximizing value from current partners/contracts.
  • People & Vendor Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team; manage vendors/SIs with outcome-based governance, quality, and cost control.

Success Measures (examples)

Improved employee service experience (CSAT/self-service/fulfillment speed), HRIS stability (availability/MTTR/change success), productivity gains from automation/AI (hours saved/cycle-time reduction), and reduced legacy app footprint with lower operational overhead.

Qualifications

  • 10-12 years in enterprise IT/platforms with 5+ years in senior leadership as a people manager (VP/Head level).
  • Strong HR Technology/HRIS ownership (SuccessFactors preferred): stability, release governance, integrations, data quality, and access controls.
  • Strong workflow/platform leadership (ServiceNow preferred) and ability to design simple, scalable employee service experiences.
  • Proven delivery of automation and AI adoption programs (UiPath and Gemini Enterprise preferred) with clear use cases, governance/guardrails, and measurable productivity impact.
  • Demonstrated leadership in application rationalisation (retire/replace/modernize), consolidation, and decommissioning legacy apps.
  • Trusted IT Business Partner to senior stakeholders (CHRO/CLRO level), balancing speed with risk, security, privacy, and audit readiness.
  • Strong vendor/partner management and commercial discipline; experienced running hybrid delivery (internal + SI/MSP).
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications are a plus.
