The VP Commercial is responsible for directing national commercial strategy and operations to support the growth of the business. Plays a key role in optimizing revenue, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cross-functional coordination across commercial, product, IT, and operations teams. The primary focus is on strengthening the performance of B2B, B2C, and strategic partnership units. This role operates within a large-scale mobility and transportation services environment, requiring strong commercial leadership in dynamic, fleet-based, and customer-centric industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with company vision, working closely with the executive team to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
- Drive revenue growth, order volume, and customer retention; manage all non-digital order channels: Call Center, Reservation, partner channels (outlets/pangkalan, airports, hotels, malls, buildings), and corporate & institutional customers; lead B2B/corporate acquisition teams; optimize pricing, incentives, and margins.
- Oversee Customer Response Center to ensure prompt and effective complaint resolution, service recovery, and leverage customer feedback for service improvement.
- Lead cross-functional and regional teams, build strong organizational structure, develop team capabilities, and foster a collaborative, data-driven, and customer-centric culture.
- Utilize market data and customer insights to inform Go-To-Market strategy and commercial decision-making.
- Represent the commercial division in strategic forums and maintain strong relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial roles (commercial operations, sales, business development, or revenue management), with 57 years in senior leadership positions at a national scale.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end commercial functions, including Go-To-Market execution, channel management, and commercial operations.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, mobility, technology, or platform-based services is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-location organizations and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, solid analytical capability, and effective executive-level leadership and communication skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-oriented environment.
