Job Description

Role Purpose

Technical solution responsible for Fixed & MIDI network and acts as the single point of contact for solution development technical related matters which cover the followings:

  • Technology business solution B2B connectivity for Multimedia Data Communication Internet.
  • B2B customers & partners integration for Fixed & MIDI solutions (E2E connectivity, technology selection, protection, monitoring system, etc.) accordance with agreed committed customer SLA.
  • B2B performance and operation monitoring solution.
  • B2B improvement strategy and solution including budget requirement and business justification.

Scope of Work

Fixed & MIDI network solution development.

  • Develop cost effective Fixed & MIDI network solution according to IOH B2B business objective & direction.
  • Drive Fixed & MIDI network solution based on latest technology for faster ROI and longer lifetime.

Customers & Partners integration for Fixed & MIDI planning

  • Drive integration compliance according to applicable technical standardization & government regulation.
  • Setup clear role & responsibility between IOH B2B and customers, including any vendor involvement.
  • Manage Key Contractual Performance toward customers.

Fixed & MIDI network improvement & optimization

  • Develop Fixed & MIDI network operation & performance monitoring solution.
  • Provide Fixed & MIDI network improvement strategy and solution including budget requirement and business justification.

Network Audit and provide optimum network solution

  • Create Hygiene data provided by B2B and Operations team by audit and validation
  • Control and validation of the cost
  • Cost saving ideation by network audits and providing better solution
  • Use project flare method to see for better options
  • Negotiation for lower cost
  • Collaboration with IOH Group (LA)

Network solutions and engineering

  • Network solution and engineering according to IOH B2B business objective.
  • Drive network solution based on latest technology and efficient for B2B business.
  • Drive integration compliance according to applicable technical standardization & government regulation.

Network solutions and engineering

  • Revenue adequate to cover the cost,
  • Customer/user and revenue validation
  • Better option, rather than just renewing the lease line
  • Confirm that the margins being earned are still per the original business case

Cost Saving

  • TCO and business case calculation
  • Analyze OPEX spending especially in Lease Line and propose effective solution as replacement.
  • Monitoring OPEX spending and ensure is properly used by IOH.

External relation

  • Company representative for technical related matters toward B2B community environment.

Qualification:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree (S1) in Telecommunication Engineering.

Related Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in network function in Telco/Operator company.
  • Experience in Fiber Optic/DWDM/IP Network (E2E transport experience).

Skills:

  • Managing end-to-end transport network planning, engineering, budget, and governance to support B2B fulfilment.
  • Possessing broad and deep knowledge of Fixed & MIDI end-to end network planning and engineering.
