Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and execute store visual merchandising layouts that align with each brand's identity and commercial objectives.
  • Develop store zoning and planograms that optimize customer flow, maximize product exposure, and highlight hero SKUs.
  • Ensure that displays and fixtures are maintained to Serial's visual standards across all stores through regular visits and photo audits.
  • Coordinate with store leads to ensure consistent VM upkeep in daily operations.
  • Establish SOPs for visual display maintenance, changeovers, and seasonal refresh.
  • Lead visual & operational setup and execution for new store openings, renovations, and relocations.
  • Liaise with vendors for signage, display materials, and fixture production.
  • Develop VM training materials and refresh modules for store leads and staff.
  • Conduct in-store training and coaching sessions to strengthen the team's visual execution capability.
  • Conduct monthly visual audits with documentation and feedback reports.
  • Track the impact of display changes on sales performance and customer engagement.
  • Propose improvement ideas based on store feedback, shopper behavior, and current retail trends.
  • Maintain a visual merchandising archive (photos, layouts, before–after references).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication Design, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in retail visual merchandising, preferably in lifestyle, fashion, or consumer goods brands.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong sense of design, spatial planning, and retail presentation.
  • Proficiency in design and layout tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or SketchUp).
  • Understanding of product zoning, traffic flow, and commercial display logic.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with operational teams.
  • Hands-on, agile, and detail-oriented personality; willing to travel for store checks or setups.
