Job Description

Timo is a global social entertainment platform rapidly expanding across Southeast Asia, ARC, Brazil, and beyond. We build interactive social experiences through chat, party rooms, and engaging in-app activities that connect users around the world.

We're looking for a Visual Designer Social Product to join our regional team and support our growth in Indonesia and Malaysia. In this role, you'll design visually compelling and culturally relevant assets for social product features, regional campaigns, and in-app events. You'll collaborate closely with regional operations and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful designs that drive user engagement and elevate the overall product experience.

Responsibilities:

- Design high-quality visual and interaction assets for social product features across the Indonesia and Malaysia markets, including regional campaign pages, policy-related H5 pages, and static or dynamic virtual gifts.

- Develop a strong understanding of local user behaviors, cultural preferences, and market characteristics (such as visual aesthetics, interaction patterns, local festivals, and religious contexts), and translate these insights into effective, localized design solutions.

- Collaborate closely with regional operations, marketing, and campaign teams to understand campaign objectives, timelines, and strategies, ensuring timely and high-quality design delivery.

- Create, maintain, and optimize design guidelines, templates, and component libraries for regional activities to improve efficiency, scalability, and visual consistency across multiple campaigns.

- Continuously iterate and optimize designs based on performance data, operational insights, and user feedback to enhance engagement and conversion.

- Ensure design outputs align with overall product branding while remaining flexible to regional market needs.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Visual Design, UI/UX Design, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in internet product design; experience in social, voice chat, live streaming, entertainment, or consumer-facing digital products is a strong plus.

- Solid understanding of Southeast Asian markets, particularly Indonesia and/or Malaysia, with a clear grasp of localization design principles and local user preferences.

- Strong visual design and interaction design skills, with the ability to independently manage the full design process from concept development to final execution.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to use English as a working language, and proven experience collaborating with cross-functional and overseas teams.

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
