Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with flexibility for remote work. As the Video Editor, you will be the visual storyteller for Circle Time!, turning raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content for our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), website, and marketing campaigns.

Your primary responsibility will be editing short-form and long-form video content that captures the warmth, joy, and educational excellence of our schools. This role requires regular on-site visits to our branches to capture authentic classroom activities, events, and interviews. You will work closely with the Marketing Lead and content creators to ensure all visual assets align with our brand direction and campaign priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing: Edit high-quality, engaging videos (reels, TikToks, trailers, educational snippets, and promos) using professional editing software.
• On-Site Videography: Travel to Jakarta & Tangerang campuses to direct and shoot high-quality video footage and photos using smartphones or camera equipment.
• Post-Production: Handle audio syncing, sound design, color grading, motion graphics, and subtitling (bilingual) to ensure polished final delivery.
• Content Collaboration: Brainstorm creative video concepts, hooks, and transitions with the marketing team to boost audience engagement.
• Asset Management: Organize and archive raw footage and project files efficiently for future use.

Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Pro) and basic motion graphics/audio editing.
• Content Creation: Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in editing short-form video content (TikTok/Reels) with a keen eye for pacing, music integration, and visual trends.
• Camera Comfort: Skilled in capturing steady, well-lit, and framed video footage using both smartphones and DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.
• Language Skills: Comfortable working with content in both Bahasa Indonesia & English (including creating accurate bilingual subtitles).
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus Points: Previous experience creating content for early childhood education, family-focused brands, or kids products is a major plus.
