A global energy leader is looking to hire an individual who can drive the People & Culture strategy across Indonesia. This is the No.2 role in-country, reporting to the Country Head with senior global exposure. Youll scale teams, build capability, and shape the People agenda through significant ongoing growth.

Overview
We are seeking an accomplished individual to take on a pivotal role within a leading international energy companys Indonesian operations. This is a rare opportunity to shape the People strategy in one of the sectors most dynamic growth markets during a period of major expansion.
As the No.2 role for the Group in-country, you will report directly to the Country Head, partner closely with the global executive team, and lead the People & Culture agenda for Indonesia. With multiple projects coming online, this role offers the chance to build and scale a function that will underpin long-term sustainable success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a People strategy aligned to global priorities and the Indonesian growth agenda.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Build pipelines of high-calibre local and international talent for offshore, onshore, and corporate functions.
- Organisation Design & Growth: Structure and scale People operations in line with programme and project expansion.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture; ensure compliance with Indonesian labour law and global standards.
- Leadership Support: Drive workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development with senior stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee HR operations including C&B, mobility, employee services, and digital HR transformation.
Candidate Profile
- Senior HR/People leadership within energy, natural resources, infrastructure, or large project environments.
- Strong command of Indonesian labour law and best-practice talent management.
- Proven experience scaling People functions through growth and change.
- Credible C-suite partner with global reporting exposure.
- Outstanding stakeholder influence and cultural agility.
- Fluency in English essential; Bahasa Indonesia highly advantageous.
