Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advocacy team at Marsh. This role will be based in Jakarta. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be part of a dynamic team focused on providing expert guidance and support to clients on claims with moderate coverage issues. Your role will involve driving the claims process, analyzing coverage, and collaborating with insurers and internal teams to ensure effective claims management.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide coverage and claims strategy guidance to clients on claims with moderate coverage issues to assist with claims preparation.
  • Identify appropriate policies and coverages on moderately complex coverage issues and analyze notifications to provide solutions against future risks.
  • Drive the claims process for clients, with supervision, ensuring progress from notification through to closure.
  • Monitor insurer responses and engage with insurers and their professional advisers on moderately complex queries and policy coverage discussions.
  • Draft communication documents for clients, including correspondence letters, claims calculations, and review client-prepared documents to support the claims process.
  • Analyze claims-related data such as loss statistics, key trends, and cost reduction opportunities to develop action plans managing the client's total cost of risk.
  • Collaborate closely with individual Claims Executives, Claims Advocacy colleagues, and Claims Operations colleagues to provide feedback and ensure a smooth claims process.

What you need to have:

  • 15 years of claims experience, including a minimum of 5 years handling claims with brokers.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret claims data and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills for drafting client correspondence and engaging with insurers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple stakeholders.
