Source, evaluate, and develop strategic supplier partnerships across trucking, ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, import & export, shipping lines, and airlines to support operational excellence.
Lead end-to-end RFQ processes, conduct thorough price benchmarking, and drive commercial negotiations to secure competitive and cost-effective rates.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database, ensuring data integrity across vendor profiles, contract terms, and pricing history.
Monitor and analyze market trends across routes, ports, and transportation modes to provide actionable rate intelligence and support strategic decision-making.
Evaluate freight cost structures including surcharges, fuel levies, and handling fees to uncover cost optimization opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
Assess, onboard, and qualify vendors in alignment with operational requirements, compliance standards, and service level expectations.
Requirements:
Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 25 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or logistics operations; candidates with 35 years of hands-on experience in freight and supplier management are preferred.
Proficient in both English and Indonesian (written and spoken); strong English communication skills are essential for vendor negotiations and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with procurement or logistics management systems is an advantage.
Willing to be placed on a Work From Office (WFO) basis in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
