Job Description
- Develop and implement vendor management strategies to ensure service quality, operational excellence, and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle activities, including vendor selection, onboarding, evaluation, performance monitoring, and contract renewal.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors to secure competitive pricing, service levels, and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, KPIs, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure vendor capabilities align with business requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor-related operational, financial, and compliance risks to minimize business disruption.
- Drive vendor governance initiatives, including contract compliance, performance audits, corrective action plans, and escalation management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic vendors and business partners to support long-term operational success.
- Prepare vendor performance reports, business reviews, and recommendations for management to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Vendor Management, Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Contract Management, or related functions.
- Strong experience managing third-party logistics (3PL), transportation providers, warehouse vendors, or operational service providers is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, vendor performance management, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong understanding of SLA management, vendor governance, risk management, and operational performance metrics.
- Experience conducting vendor evaluation, tender processes, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for vendor performance monitoring and reporting.
