Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Craft and refine user-facing microcopy such as buttons, menus, error messages, onboarding flows, tooltips, and in-app notifications that are clear, concise, and aligned with the product voice.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX Designers and Product Managers to understand user needs, feature requirements, and ensure seamless communication within product interfaces.
  • Conduct usability testing and test validation sessions, and analyze how users interpret and respond to copy, iterating based on data and user feedback.
  • Write supplementary user-facing documentation, including FAQs, in-app guidance, help articles, and user manuals to support product comprehension.
  • Conduct user research or interviews to understand user behavior, preferences, and language habits, helping to select terminology that resonates naturally.
  • Collaborate with the UI/UX team to maintain a content style guide and content system as part of the larger design system.
  • Support ongoing grooming and R&D discussions by transforming technical or research findings into user-friendly in-product messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in UX writing or a related role.
  • Strong writing and editing skills tailored for digital interfaces
  • Experience conducting or participating in user testing for copy validation.
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Familiarity with UX design processes and user research.
  • Knowledge of localization, accessibility, and content scalability
  • Strong user empathy and ability to think from a user's perspective.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and consistency.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and adaptable in an agile R&D setting.
