Underwriting MDRT Business Center Asst. Manager

Job Description:

1. Assess and underwrite new insurance applications by evaluating medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle risks in accordance with defined SLAs.
2. Managing team & ensuring underwriting process within SLA.
3. Coordinate with Sales Relation regarding MDRT cases
4. Coordinate with Respective Department (Actuary, Pricing, Product, etc.)
5. Coordinate with Servicing MDRT Agent (Offline- in MDRT Business Center & Online)
6. Ensure proper case logging, monitoring, and closure in the system.
7. Deliver clear and accurate decisions to customers and stakeholders as regulated.
8. Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Support leader on providing data, information and document related to related cases
10. Supervise/ coaching junior underwriter

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum bachelor's degree (S1) in any major. Majoring in Insurance, Medical, or Health background will be an advantage.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Underwriting Individual & Health, preferably in insurance company.
3. Good communication & complain handling capability.
4. Fluent in English both written & verbal
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
7. Ability to work cross functionally and coordinate with multiple departments.
8. Understand Medical Underwriting
9. Understand Financial Underwriting & Complex Underwriting.
10. High integrity and adherence to confidentiality and conflict of interest standards.
11. Has good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
12. Has principal insurance knowledge.
13. Has good excel skills.
14. Adaptable to changes (not limited to role, regulation and function)
