We're Hiring: Senior UI/UX Designer
Metatech ID is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, user-centered, and scalable digital product experiences.
This role is suitable for an experienced designer who can provide strong design direction, guide product research, review design quality, and translate deep user understanding into strategic product improvements.
Role Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping product experiences that are aligned with user needs, product objectives, and software development requirements. You will be responsible for providing design direction, reviewing design outputs, and ensuring that interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and easy to use.
You will also guide research activities for product development using qualitative, quantitative, and experimental methods, helping teams sharpen user insights, validate assumptions, and improve product decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of user-centered digital product experiences across web and/or mobile platforms
- Provide design direction and specialized input to product, engineering, and business teams
- Translate user needs, audience insights, and product objectives into scalable UI/UX solutions
- Guide the development of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs
- Lead or supervise product research activities using qualitative, quantitative, and experimental methods
- Review and validate design outputs to ensure alignment with usability standards, design principles, and product requirements
- Identify design problems, usability gaps, and improvement opportunities through research, testing, and analysis
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align design decisions with product development priorities
- Mentor or guide team members in design thinking, research methods, and interface design practices
- Develop and refine design systems, interaction patterns, and documentation standards where needed
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1/D4) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication Design, Computer Science, or other relevant fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, graphic design, or design research
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, research-driven decision-making, and high-quality interface design
- Strong experience in user-centered design, usability testing, interaction design, and product research
- Experienced in applying research methodologies, including foundational and evaluative research
- Able to provide design direction, review design outputs, and ensure implementation quality
- Strong understanding of design systems, information architecture, usability principles, and product development lifecycle
- Able to coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide senior-level recommendations to stakeholders
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills
Salary Range : IDR 16,800,000 - 21,600,000 (depending on experience)
