Treasury Auditor
Conducting independent audits and assessments of treasury activities within the bank, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The role evaluates the effectiveness of treasury operations, risk management processes, controls over funding and liquidity management, investment activities, foreign exchange transactions, and capital market operations to safeguard the bank's assets and maintain financial stability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Treasury Operations, Treasury Risk Management, or related banking functions.
- Experience auditing treasury activities within commercial banks, investment banks, or financial institutions is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of treasury products and banking operations.
- Strong knowledge of: Treasury products and services, Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions, Money Market and Interbank transactions, Fixed Income and Investment Securities, Derivatives and Hedging Instruments, Liquidity Management, Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Market Risk and Interest Rate Risk Management
- Understanding of banking regulations and treasury-related regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems, core banking systems, and financial reporting processes.
