Advise employees on the most efficient and cost-effective travel options based on company policy and their specific needs.
Book flights, accommodations, rental cars, and other travel arrangements through online booking systems as well as through vendors.
Process and manage all travel-related documentation, including tickets, itineraries, and visa requirements.
Serve as the main point of contact to travel vendors and external parties. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues.
Act quickly to resolve any travel disruptions, such as flight cancellations, delays, or booking changes.
Ensure all travel bookings adhere to the company's travel policy and budget guidelines.
Assist with creating and maintaining travel-related reports and expense summaries.
Requirements
Diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
At least 1 year of work experience as a travel booker/travel consultant in a travel agency.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with Google Sheets.
