Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize efficient transportation routes for the timely delivery
• Address transportation-related issues promptly, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies in orders, to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels in transit, reducing delays, and ensuring that products reach their destinations without stock outs or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate transportation records, including invoices, bills of lading, and compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, and a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field can be advantageous.
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain operations, including a deep understanding of transportation modes, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage transportation schedules, routes, and shipments efficiently.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with drivers, carriers, and other team members, ensuring smooth transportation operations and problem resolution.
• The ability to quickly assess and address transportation-related issues, such as delays, route changes, or equipment problems, to maintain on-time deliveries.
