Job Description

Background

The Blended Social Finance (BSF) Program is part of NAMA Foundation's Third-Sector Empowerment initiative, implemented by NICE Global Impact. The program strengthens the organizational and financial sustainability of Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) by building their capacity inbusiness management and enabling them to disbursezero-interest loans (QardHassan).

Through structured training, mentoring, and coaching, the BSF Program supports NPOs to develop sound business management practices, meet funder requirements, andestablishsustainable organizational systems.

Objective

The SME Trainer will strengthen the business management capacity of selected NPO partners by delivering customized organizational management training, followed by targeted mentoring and coaching to support practical implementation and the completion of required organizational documents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in business management, organizational development, or related fields.
  • Proven experience delivering sustainability or organizational strengthening programs, preferably within the NPO or civil society sector.
  • Strong familiarity with business development principles and sustainability models; familiarity with Islamic social finance instruments (e.g., Qard Hasan) is an advantage.
  • Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills, with the ability to translate complex business and financial concepts into clear, accessible, and practical guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English & Bahasa.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying tools such as the Business Model Canvas, cashflow planning methodologies, and risk management frameworks within organizational or enterprise development contexts.

Scope of Work

  • Developing customized capacity-building plans for each assigned NPO based on assessment results.
  • Designing and adapting business management training materials in line with program objectives and donor requirements.
  • Delivering training sessions (online and/or in-person) using practical and interactive approaches.
  • Providing mentoring and coaching support to assist NPOs in implementing business management practices and developing required documents.
  • Preparing reports and contributing to program monitoring and evaluation processes.
