Trading & Settlement Executive

We are looking for a Trading / Dealing & Settlement Executive to support our day-to-day trading and dealing operations, with additional responsibilities covering derivatives settlement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor clients equity, margin, and position limits to ensure trading activities remain within applicable limits and requirements.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and relevant teams to resolve trade-related matters, including order types, execution prices, and transaction issues.
• Execute and monitor orders involving securities, futures, options, and other related financial products.
• Prepare and submit regular reports covering trading activities, market updates, and client positions.
• Perform trading system maintenance, including leverage adjustments, group/account creation and configuration, and other system settings.
• Coordinate with trading system providers regarding system issues, bugs, enhancements, and technical matters.
• Support product-related activities, including market holiday updates, new product launches, product testing, and trading system configuration.
• Maintain product parameters in the trading system, including contract specifications, contract sizes, lot sizes, and other requirements in accordance with the relevant exchange.

Settlement Support:

• Assist with, settlement processing, and relevant regulatory reporting
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation/checking of transaction and settlement reports.
• Support daily operational processes related to confirmation and settlement of derivatives transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a brokerage, futures brokerage, securities company, or financial services environment, preferably in Trading, Dealing, or related Operations functions.
• Strong understanding of trading operations, financial products, and order execution processes.
• Experience with futures, securities, or other financial products is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with trading platforms / trading systems and related operational processes.
• Understanding of trade settlement, reconciliation, client positions, margin, and transaction processing is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve trade-related issues.
• Good communication and coordination skills, especially when working with Front Office, Operations, IT, and external system providers.
• Willing to work on a shift basis, including weekends or public holidays when required.
