Open Position: TI Plus Developer (IT)

About the Role

As a TI Plus Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting the TI Plus platform and related enterprise applications to ensure reliable and scalable technology solutions for the Bank's business needs. The role involves designing and maintaining Java/J2EE-based applications, middleware components, REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions, while collaborating with infrastructure and cloud teams to support deployments across Azure and AWS environments. You will also contribute to system performance optimization, troubleshooting, code reviews, Oracle database management, and root cause analysis, while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Lead technical development and support activities specifically for the TI Plus platform and related enterprise applications.
2. Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and middleware components.
3. Work on REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, and complex enterprise integration solutions.
4. Collaborate closely with infrastructure and cloud teams for seamless deployments across Azure and AWS environments.
5. Perform rigorous code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
6. Manage Oracle database interactions, including query optimization and stored procedures.
7. Guide junior developers, providing strong technical leadership and mentorship to the team.
8. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

1. Demonstrate good character, honesty, high integrity, and have no criminal record (either criminal or civil).
2. Have strong willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills.
3. Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
4. Experience: 8+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 3+ years as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer.
5. Core Expertise: Strong, hands-on knowledge of the TI Plus product and Java/J2EE technologies.
6. Database & Integration: Solid understanding of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, alongside proven experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, and API integrations.
7. Cloud Environment: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
8. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
9. Ability to translate business stakeholder requirements into technical solutions and system specifications.
10. Excellent communication skills in English (US), both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate effectively in formal and informal settings.
