Hi everyone! We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality software through comprehensive testing strategies, including both manual and automated testing approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications
- Create and manage test scenarios, test scripts, test cases, test plans, and test reports
- Perform functional, regression, performance, security, usability, and API testing
- Design and implement test automation strategies and frameworks to improve testing efficiency
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar tools
- Conduct White Box Testing and debug backend code when necessary
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI, JMeter, Mocha & Chai
- Ensure compliance with Agile methodologies and participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives
- Perform database validation and testing using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Prepare technical documentation and test reports for audit and compliance purposes
- Provide insights and recommendations for testing best practices and process improvements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Assurance / Test Engineer
- Strong understanding of Software Testing concepts, both Manual and Automation Testing (Web and/or Mobile)
- Hands-on experience using automation testing tools, especially Katalon Studio
- Proficient in API testing using tools such as Postman
- Familiar with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
- Experience in defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar)
- Able to design, create, and execute Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Plans
- Experienced working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for data validation and database testing
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with developers, product, and business teams
