About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Java Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/Cucumber, and API Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using TestNG, Maven, and Page Object Model (POM).
- Develop and execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration test suites.
- Automate API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using JIRA or other defect management tools.
- Execute automated test suites through CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
