Test Architect for DB & Python testing

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing test strategies for database and Python applications.
• Developing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborating with development teams to understand application architecture and testing requirements.
• Reviewing requirements and specifications to ensure test coverage and quality.
• Analyzing test results and providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers in testing methodologies and best practices.
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the development process.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in software testing with a focus on databases and Python applications.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, unittest, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices for automated testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
