Territory Manager - Tuban - East Java
Main Purpose:
To create demand, promote, and execute sales orders for corn seeds within an assigned area to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities: - Sales Planning and Execution:
- Develop sales plans and forecasts for key customers and accounts.
- Implement trading programs and monitor sales progress, stock position, and collection.
- Conclude sales activities to meet sales objectives.
- Promotional Activities:
- Implement promotional activities for corn seeds.
- Execute Sales Excellence and Merchandising programs.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Report sales activities, including trading programs and customer feedback.
- Analyze competitor activities (e.g., price, stock, promotion) and share insights with the Area Sales Manager.
- Team Management:
- Manage and supervise the activities of District Representatives, reallocating resources to maximize results.
- Market Knowledge:
- Maintain knowledge of corn agronomy, including pest and disease management.
- Source and analyze market data to understand trends and improve sales strategies.
Key Working Relations:
External:- Distributors, retailers, key farmers, Agriculture Department Officers (PKL).
Internal:- Sales, marketing, market development, and supply chain teams.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Education:- University degree in agriculture with a major in agronomy or plant protection.
Experience:- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Territory Manager in the agricultural sector.
Skills:- Strong understanding of agricultural practices and market dynamics.
- Result-oriented with excellent analytical thinking.
- Self-reliant with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
