Role Description The Territory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya. This position is responsible for managing sales activities within an assigned territory, including building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers in the building materials sector. The Territory Manager will regularly visit client sites, present product solutions, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely order fulfillment and after-sales support. The role includes monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and support strategic planning. The Territory Manager will collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and customer service to achieve sales targets and deliver a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in territory or sales management, ideally within building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Solid business development and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks within the territory.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both in person and in writing, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Good organizational and time management skills to plan routes, schedule client meetings, and manage multiple accounts.
- Comfort working on-site and traveling frequently within the Surabaya area and surrounding regions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in standard office software and basic sales reporting tools.
