Job Purposes:
- Deliver Sales Revenue and Profit Targets as set forth in the Strategic Plan for Process Products with a focus on the Life Science Business including LifeTec liquid filters and Industrial Filtration for the assigned Sales Territory.
- Develop Sales Channel Mix to achieve annual Targets and Objectives.
- Market Observation and Communicate commercial and technical trends/developments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Full responsibility in achieving sales and profit targets for the assigned sales territory / customers / product range.
- Visits (physically and virtually) target customers on a regular basis in the assigned area on a regular basis, minimum 8 visits per week.
- Identify and understand end-user application needs, convert them into opportunities, quotation and deliver sales revenue.
- Identify and develop local key accounts and follow up on global strategic accounts by territory and market segment.
- Identify and develop distribution channels for designated products and markets.
- Closely communicate with sales manager, regional / global application engineering, seek regular support and provide regular feedback.
- Ensure proper documentation of success stories by market and application, working with Application Engineering / Sector Specialist.
- Provide adequate activity planning and reporting supported by the Donaldson CRM system.
- Observe trends on applications and new technologies in our target markets, communicate with sales manager for further advice on market approach.
- Derive product and development recommendations in close communication with our Application Engineering / Sector Specialist.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or above in food science, chemical engineering, technical engineering, or equivalent
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Understanding background of F&B production, sales driven, excellent communication skills, and strong technical comprehension
- Good negotiation, influencing and follow up skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Experience in the effective use of CRM software
Leadership Competence:
- Self-starter, able to work under minimum supervision
- Self-motivated and result orientated
- Eager to learn, quick comprehension
- Potential leadership skills
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relevant applications (either filtration or food and beverage industry) with proven track record of sales deliverable
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales role or appreciation of technical products in a commercial environment selling into the process industries.
Others (% of travel, language, etc.):
- Good Bahasa Indonesia and English communication (both written and spoken)
- Regular travel in the territory is required
- Own a vehicle is preferable
