Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Terminal Stamping Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain high-precision metal stamping processes for terminal products. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, improving manufacturing efficiency, and supporting new product introductions within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain precision terminal stamping processes and progressive dies to meet quality and productivity targets
  • Lead die trials, process validation, and troubleshooting, ensuring stable and efficient mass production
  • Analyze and resolve production issues (e.g., defects, downtime, inefficiencies) with strong root cause methodology
  • Continuously improve product quality, yield, and process capability (CPK) while reducing scrap and cost
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), including feasibility analysis, process design, and cross-functional coordination (R&D, Quality, Production)
  • Collaborate with tooling, maintenance, and production teams to ensure optimal die performance and longevity
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) within stamping operations

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in terminal stamping or precision metal stamping engineering
  • Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of progressive die structure, stamping processes, and material behavior
  • Proficient in 2D/3D drawing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience in die debugging, process optimization, and shop floor problem-solving
  • Familiarity with quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, etc.) is an advantage
  • Experience in automotive, EV, or new energy terminal products is highly preferred
