Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teknisi FnB based in Surabaya. The Teknisi FnB will be responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining food and beverage equipment, such as ovens, chillers, freezers, mixers, coffee machines, and other kitchen and bakery machinery. The role includes performing routine inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting repairs, and coordinating with vendors or external technicians when necessary. The technician will document maintenance activities, monitor spare parts inventory, and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines. This role will also support store openings, equipment setup, and layout adjustments for new or renovated outlets, while collaborating closely with operations, kitchen, and management teams.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in maintaining and repairing FnB equipment (e.g., kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, baking and coffee machines).
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including the ability to read simple technical diagrams or manuals.
- Knowledge of safety standards, hygiene requirements, and preventive maintenance procedures for food and beverage operations.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in performing technical tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with outlets, kitchen staff, and management.
- Ability to work on-site across different outlets in Surabaya, occasionally supporting new store setups or urgent repairs.
- Willingness to work in shifts or extended hours when needed, including weekends or holidays, in line with operational needs.
- Minimum vocational or technical high school (SMK) or equivalent, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or related fields.
- Previous experience as an FnB technician, maintenance technician, or similar role in restaurants, bakeries, hotels, or retail is an advantage.
- Basic computer or mobile app literacy for logging maintenance records and communicating work reports.
