Technician - Intrument & Control

About the Role Star Energy Geothermal, Indonesia's leading geothermal energy producer, is seeking a Technician – Instrument & Control (I&C) to join our Power Plant Operations team. The role executes I&C maintenance activities that keep the geothermal power generation and resource production facilities operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Job Description

• Execute Instrument & Control (I&C) maintenance activities in full compliance with established procedures and SHE standards.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of I&C systems to sustain equipment performance and operational integrity.
• Support high plant availability by minimizing downtime through timely and effective maintenance execution.
• Deliver accurate maintenance reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to support integrated operations.
• Contribute to overall operational excellence by maintaining instrumentation and control system reliability.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma-3 (D3) in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for D3 graduates.
• Industry Background: Geothermal, Power Plant, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industry.
• Hands-on capability in inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong commitment to Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards and procedural compliance.
• Willing to be based at the Darajat field site on a regular work schedule.
