Job Description

Responsibilities

Translate technical documents, manuals, specifications, and reports from Chinese to English (and vice versa) with high accuracy.
Interpret technical discussions/meetings between Chinese and English speakers, especially in engineering/ITT contexts.
Ensure translation maintains technical accuracy, industry terminology, and context relevance.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to clarify technical terms and requirements.
Support cross-border projects by bridging communication gaps between Chinese and English-speaking teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Translation, or related field is a plus
Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both spoken and written.
Minimum 13 years of experience in technical translation (engineering, manufacturing, construction, IT, or related).
Strong understanding of engineering/technical terminology (mechanical, electrical, civil, or IT depending on industry).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate translations under deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate interpretation during meetings.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
