Livestream Operator (E-Commerce & Live Commerce)
Job Description
PT Otto Media Grup, a fast-growing media & digital marketing company, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Livestream Operator to support and manage live streaming activities across e-commerce and social media platforms.
This role is responsible for handling technical livestream setup, operating OBS, ensuring smooth live broadcast execution, and supporting performance improvement through live data analysis. You will work closely with hosts, KOLs, and internal teams to deliver high-quality and high-performing live sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Livestream Setup & Technical Operation
- Set up and operate livestream equipment, including camera, lighting, audio, and internet connection
- Configure and operate OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) for live streaming
- Ensure smooth live broadcast execution with minimal technical issues
- Troubleshoot technical problems during live sessions
Live Commerce Support
- Coordinate with hosts, talents, and KOLs before and during livestream
- Support live sessions on platforms such as TikTok Live, TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, and others
- Manage live switching, scenes, overlays, and audio during broadcast
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate clearly and effectively with hosts, teams, and stakeholders during live sessions
- Provide real-time updates and instructions during livestreams
- Ensure all parties are aligned with live schedules and technical requirements
Live Data Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor live performance data such as viewers, engagement, orders, and GMV during streaming
- Record and summarize live performance results for reporting
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve future live sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 13 years of experience as a Livestream Operator, Streaming Technician, or similar role
- Strong understanding of livestream setup and technical operations
- Hands-on experience using OBS (scene setup, audio, overlays, transitions)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to analyze basic live commerce data (viewers, engagement, sales, GMV)
- Familiar with e-commerce live streaming platforms (TikTok Live, Shopee Live, etc.)
- Able to work under pressure and handle live technical issues calmly
- Willing to work with flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Experience in media agency or digital marketing company is a plus
