Job Description

Responsibilities

System Design & Architecture
Design Solar PV, IoT, and distributed systems from concept to implementation.
Prepare detailed design documents, including single-line diagrams (SLD), P&IDs, wiring layouts, and network topology.
Develop architecture blueprints integrating hardware, sensors, gateways, cloud infrastructure, and application layers.
Perform system sizing, component selection, and performance simulations.
Technical Documentation
Create and maintain all technical documents (BOM, SOW, design specs, and test plans).
Write design justifications, risk assessments, and integration plans.
Ensure all designs comply with local and international standards (e.g., SNI, PLN, IEC, IEEE).
Project Execution & Coordination
Break down projects into actionable technical tasks for engineering and installation teams.
Act as a bridge between R&D, operations, and site engineers.
Monitor implementation progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timelines are met.
Participate in site surveys, testing, and commissioning phases.
System Analysis & Optimization
Analyze performance data and propose system improvements or redesigns.
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system failures or inefficiencies.
Continuously improve engineering and documentation workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Experience in system design, integration, or technical project engineering.
Proven track record in Solar PV, IoT, or distributed system projects preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems (inverter, battery, LV/MV panels, sensors).
Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, Modbus, LoRa, TCP/IP) and cloud integration.
Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, etc.).
Experience writing or reading system architecture diagrams, API flows, and data communication schematics.
Knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Notion, Asana, etc.) and documentation standards.
Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Strong cross-functional communication and coordination ability.
Able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Comfortable leading both technical and non-technical discussions.
Preferred certification in Renewable Energy (IUPLTS, PLN-certified engineer).
