EV Charger installation Business & Operations Manager

Role Requirements

We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong technical understanding, operational mindset, and business capability to manage EV charging products and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Product Oversight

* Understand EV charger installation workflow: site survey, electrical requirement, installation, testing, commissioning, and aftersales process

* Evaluate technical solutions, installation quality, and vendor performance

* Able to verify technical recommendations from engineers, installers, and suppliers

* Ensure installation standards, safety procedures, and compliance requirements are properly implemented

* Knowledge of AC EV Charger, IEC 61851, OCPP, smart charging, PUIL, SLO/NIDI, or related electrical standards is preferred

* Work with OEM suppliers for product evaluation, improvement, customization, and troubleshooting

Operations & Team Development

* Build and manage installation/service operations

* Develop SOP, workflow, quality control process, and training system

* Recruit, train, and manage technical teams or external installation partners

* Create operational KPIs, performance tracking, and continuous improvement process

* Analyze field problems and solve root causes through better systems and processes

Business Development & Growth

* Develop sales channels for residential, automotive, and commercial segments

* Build partnerships with EV dealers, automotive networks, property developers, apartments, and business partners

* Analyze product positioning, pricing strategy, market opportunities, and customer needs

* Monitor sales pipeline, customer feedback, and market trends to support business growth

Requirements

* Minimum 2+ years experience in one or more of the following industries:

* EV Charging Infrastructure

* Renewable Energy / Solar Energy

* Electrical Infrastructure / MEP

* Automotive EV Industry

* Smart Home / IoT Hardware

* Technical Consumer Products

* Minimum 2 years experience managing teams, projects, vendors, or field operations

* Strong understanding of technical products with ability to communicate between business and engineering teams

* Experience building SOP, operational systems, or new business processes

* Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills

* Comfortable managing both strategic planning and hands-on execution

Strong Advantages

* Experience in EV charger deployment or charging infrastructure projects

* Experience building installation/service teams from early stage

* Experience working directly with overseas suppliers/manufacturers

* Knowledge of OCPP, CSMS, smart energy ecosystem, solar, or battery storage

* Existing network within EV, automotive, energy, or property industry
