Job Description

This position is responsible for leading the engineering team in the development and enhancement of our Ultra Loyalty Web Application. The Tech Lead ensures engineering best practices are followed, the project runs according to the defined timeline, and technical blockers are resolved proactively. This role bridges the gap between technical execution and project delivery, ensuring the team operates efficiently and delivers high-quality solutions on time

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • >5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 1-2 years in a Tech Lead or senior engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with web technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, REST APIs) and software architecture patterns.
  • Proven ability to lead a development team, manage engineering timelines, and deliver projects under deadline.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; able to facilitate sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; proactive in identifying and resolving technical blockers.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and oversee the engineering team to ensure development tasks are completed on schedule and aligned with project milestones.
  • Own the technical architecture and ensure engineering decisions align with scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.
  • Proactively identify technical risks, blockers, and dependencies; provide timely solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Product Owner to define sprint goals, estimate effort, and manage engineering capacity.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ownership.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, drive alignment on architectural decisions, and document key engineering choices.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability; ensure production issues are resolved promptly with minimal impact.
  • Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and external vendors to ensure smooth deployment and integration across the loyalty platform.
