Technical Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive the architecture, delivery, and technical direction of our backend platform. This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities, mentoring developers and ensuring high-quality execution across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend systems
• Provide technical guidance to engineers across backend, QA, and DevOps functions
• Review architecture decisions, code quality, and deployment strategies
• Coordinate delivery across multiple engineering workstreams
• Drive best practices in TypeScript, NestJS, AWS, and PostgreSQL

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in TypeScript / Node.js / NestJS
• Experience designing high-availability distributed systems
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience with PostgreSQL / Aurora
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience leading remote or distributed engineering teams
• Background in Web3, blockchain, or high-growth startup environments
• Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure automation
