Technical Lead – Java Microservices (Banking)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java-based technologies, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and banking technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Infrastructure, Deployment, and Vendor teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead technical design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications.
• Drive technical innovation and platform modernization initiatives.
• Build reusable frameworks and configuration-driven solutions.
• Produce detailed technical and low-level design documentation.
• Ensure adherence to development, configuration management, and deployment standards.
• Analyze and resolve performance, security, and vulnerability-related issues.
• Lead multi-vendor technical teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Manage technical risks, issues, escalations, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of hands-on software development and technical leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in:
• Java/J2EE
• Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• Linux/RedHat and Shell Scripting
• JBoss and/or Tomcat
• SQL and Database Technologies
• Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and DevOps tools
• FTP, SFTP, and Unix Commands
• Experience with:
• Kafka
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Performance Tuning and Automation
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
