Technical Architect

Company Description Stilt Studios designs, builds, and operates prefabricated studio structures for tourist accommodation. The company focuses on creative, innovative design and production to deliver distinctive guest experiences. Its floating buildings are engineered for minimal environmental impact and run with carbon-neutral operations. Stilt Studios both sells units outright and develops and manages units for short-term tourist rentals, offering opportunities to work across design, construction, and hospitality operations.

Role Description The Technical Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing technical architectures that support Stilt Studios prefabricated accommodation concepts and operational systems. This full-time, on-site role in Denpasar includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to define solution architectures, guide software development and integration efforts, and ensure that systems and platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with business and sustainability goals. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing requirements, producing technical designs and documentation, coordinating implementation with development and operations teams, and continuously improving the technical ecosystem supporting building management, guest services, and internal tools. The Technical Architect will also evaluate new technologies, recommend best practices, and provide technical leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across projects.

Qualifications

1. Preferred minimal of 2 years experience working at an architectural office; experience in a prefab company or modular projects is preferable;
2. ⁠⁠Experience in wood and steel constructions; in-depth understanding of joint and connection details;
3. Extensive knowledge of construction materials;
4. Proficiency in using Revit.

Responsibilities:

1. Involvement in research and development of prefab components (walls, floors, ceilings, etc.), including 3D modeling and producing production drawings.
2. Collaborating with other members of the architecture team, as well as the interior design team, manufacturing team, and construction team;
3. Ability to assist with on-site technical issues; develop, iterate, and deliver design solutions promptly and consistently.
