Role Purpose & Impact
The Tech Lead is expected to champion the implementation of DevOps culture, guiding teams toward greater autonomy and ownership.
A significant part of the role is translating high-level, global guidelines into actionable plans that can be practically adopted within the department.
The position involves managing a specialized team of DevOps engineers, overseeing workload, setting priorities, and coordinating with stakeholders.
The Tech Lead is also tasked with influencing the team's evolution toward elite engineering performance.
The role bridges strategic vision and operational execution, ensuring that global transformation goals are realized through practical, department-level initiatives.
The Tech Lead's impact is measured by the team's ability to adopt new ways of working and deliver on transformation objectives.
Your Day-to-Day
- Work with product teams towards their infrastructure goals
- Monitor, manage and improve our deployment pipelines, runtime environments and cloud posture
- Guide, direct and show us the right way to migrate to newer, better, safer tech choices
Who We're Looking For
A technology leader who is capable in all things cloud, architecture, engineering. With plenty of experience in AWS, deployment pipelines, building code and running large distributed systems in production.
We want someone who is able to plan and implement observability, alerting, monitoring, at scale.
Who can show us what good looks like from an infrastructure and operation point of view for our commerce, websites and apps.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience with AWS
- 5+ years of experience with Jenkins or similar build system
- Proven professional experience with Terraform or another IaC tool
- Solid GiT experience
