Open Position: Team Leader API Partnership
About the Role
As Team Leader API Partnership, you will lead the development and execution of API-based collaborations to expand the organization's digital ecosystem. You will identify and manage partnerships with external stakeholders, oversee end-to-end API integration projects—from requirement gathering to implementation—and coordinate closely with IT, product, and business teams to ensure smooth delivery. You will also monitor API performance, ensure alignment with open banking standards, and continuously optimize partnerships to drive business growth and enhance digital services.
Responsibilities
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities with external stakeholders (corporate partners, fintechs, digital platforms, and digital ecosystem players) to support digital service integration via APIs.
- Design and manage API-based partnership implementation integrated with digital banking platforms.
- Collaborate with IT, product development, and business units to execute API integration with external partners.
- Develop business and technical requirements for API integration projects.
- Oversee end-to-end implementation processes, from requirement gathering and technical coordination to system integration deployment.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and utilization of partner APIs.
- Conduct benchmarking against open banking and API ecosystem models from other banks and fintechs.
- Prepare documentation and reports related to API partnership development and digital service integration.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Systems, Information Technology, Management, Economics, or other relevant fields.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or technology industries, particularly in digital banking, API integration, or partnership management.
- Strong understanding of API integration concepts, open banking, host-to-host integration, and digital ecosystem partnerships.
- Knowledge of banking products and services or digital platforms with value-added services.
- Proven experience managing collaborative work and cross-functional coordination (IT, product development, and business teams).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities in digital services and system integration.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building partnerships with fintech companies, technology firms, and digital ecosystem partners.
- Strong interest in developing digital banking ecosystems and API-based service integration.
