Job Description

Job Title: Content Moderator Team Leader Ecommerce

Location: Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Department: Ecommerce Content Moderation

Reports To: [Manager/Supervisor]

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Content Moderator Team Leader to join our Ecommerce team in Yogyakarta. As a Team Leader, you will oversee the moderation of user-generated content across ecommerce platforms, ensuring that content complies with company policies and community guidelines while maintaining a safe and positive online environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and support a team of content moderators responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content across ecommerce platforms.
  • Ensure the team consistently meets content moderation standards, policies, and performance targets.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve team performance, quality of work, and knowledge of moderation policies.
  • Manage and resolve escalated content moderation issues, ensuring quick and accurate resolutions.
  • Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
  • Report regularly on team performance, trends, and issues to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., legal, compliance, customer support) to resolve complex content-related issues.
  • Implement and maintain processes to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of content moderation.
  • Foster a positive team culture by encouraging collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the team and contribute to process optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in content moderation or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of content moderation policies and best practices, preferably in the ecommerce or social media industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalated situations effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in using moderation tools and platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ecommerce content moderation is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to content moderation.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams or global platforms.
