The Role

At PartnerHero, our Team Lead for Content Moderation leads a team of associates, optimizing team performance for a specific Partner/program. As a Team Lead, you are the point of contact for the Partner regarding the program and you are responsible for relaying key information, updates, and feedback to your team.

Important Note: The Team Lead may be exposed to harmful content as part of their core day-to-day responsibilities, as well as in project work or in response to escalations. This harmful content may include (but not be limited to) child abuse; bestiality; sexual assault; torture; and murder.

What you'll do:

  • Function as primary point of contact for the Partner and key PartnerHero stakeholders.
  • Implement operational protocols in collaboration with quality assurance, product operations and strategy teams.
  • Remain current on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, and policy updates and communicate to associates.
  • Prepare reports and analyze performance data to improve processes, ensure associates are properly allocated, and maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure associates achieve desired service levels.
  • Build and maintain the team's schedule to ensure appropriate coverage.

What we expect from you:

  • 1 year of experience in Content Moderation and 1 year of Team Lead experience - experience is related to moderating offensive and disturbing content.
  • Strong computer navigational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven experience in overcoming unexpected difficulties and using logical problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable making decisions with limited information available.
  • Understanding of NCMEC reports and the TechCoalition's industry classification system.
