What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:
- Monitor all collection activities under their coordination and provide guidance to achieve better NPL targets (%) and Flow Rate performance across all buckets.
- Provide regular refreshment training and coaching to all collection teams under their coordination, covering collection skills, negotiation techniques, skip tracing, and problem loan resolution management.
- Directly supervise the activities of field collection officers as well as collection activities handled by third parties (Collection Agencies).
- Ensure that field collection officers are strictly prohibited from receiving any payment directly from debtors and ensure there is no fraud, including missing payments or delayed payments, committed by field officers.
- Assist in the collection of accounts requiring special handling, either through telephone calls or direct visits to debtors.
What Is Required and What We're Looking For
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree (S1) in any major.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the collection field, either in banking or other financial institutions.
- Strong negotiation skills with proven capability in both soft and hard collection approaches.
- Good knowledge of banking products.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong understanding of the stages and steps required to resolve non-performing loans.
- Ability to think quickly and accurately in determining resolution strategies to achieve assigned targets.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain highly motivated to achieve management-assigned targets.
- Proficient in using basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collection systems.
- Demonstrates good attitude and high integrity.
- Disciplined, honest, and accountable.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate collection data, identify trends, and prepare performance reports.
