Accounting Team Lead

About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Accounting Team Lead to manage client portfolios, lead a team, and deliver high-quality finance operations and insights.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting work and team leadership, and wants exposure to high-growth companies across different industries.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end accounting for multiple clients, including financial reporting and analysis (FP&A)
- Drive FP&A and commercial finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making
- Ensure proper and timely closing of accounts across client portfolios
- Review and/or independently prepare financial statements and tax submissions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and tax filings (e.g. GST)
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support client decision-making
- Mentor, review and develop junior team members
- Drive process improvements, standardisation and automation initiatives
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted finance partner
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in outsourcing or multi-client environments
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax requirements
- Proven experience leading teams and reviewing work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to juggle competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
- Strong Excel skills with ability to analyse and interpret financial data
- This is a remote role. Candidates must be able to align with Singapore working hours.
