We're looking for a Tax Supervisor to lead tax compliance, reporting, audits, and tax planning while ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations. Tax Compliance and Reporting
- Oversee the calculation, payment, and reporting processes of all company taxes.
- Ensure tax filings are submitted accurately and on time in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Review tax calculations and tax reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all withholding tax certificates and tax-related documents are properly maintained and documented.
Tax Audit & Dispute Management
- Act as the primary point of contact (PIC) during tax audits conducted by tax authorities.
- Prepare and provide the necessary data and documentation throughout the audit process.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants when required.
- Manage tax objection processes, appeals, and responses to clarification requests from tax authorities.
Tax Planning and Advisory
- Provide recommendations on tax efficiency initiatives and tax planning strategies in compliance with prevailing regulations.
- Conduct tax impact analyses on new business transactions and initiatives.
- Identify potential tax risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
Tax Reconciliation and Reporting
- Perform reconciliations between financial reports and tax reports.
- Ensure data consistency between the general ledger and tax returns.
- Conduct fiscal reviews and annual tax reconciliations for the preparation of the annual corporate income tax return.
Tax Regulations Monitoring and Implementation
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate regulatory updates to management and relevant departments.
- Ensure the effective implementation of new tax regulations across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax and Accounting with prior experience in a tax consulting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and tax compliance requirements.
- Experienced in tax reporting, tax audits, fiscal reconciliation, and annual corporate tax return preparation.
- Familiar with handling tax authority inquiries, audits, objections, and appeals.
- Proficient in Coretax, Odoo, and Microsoft Excel.
- Possess Brevet A & B certification; Brevet C is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
