Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

1.Review the company's tax matters, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Withholding Tax (WHT), and Value-Added Tax (VAT), ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.

2.Prepare and issue commercial invoices, tax invoices, and other tax-related documents; calculate and file VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations and internal standards.

3.Provide tax advice and guidance on business operations, transactions, and new business initiatives; assess tax implications and ensure business activities are conducted in a compliant manner.

4.Liaise with tax authorities and lead the coordination of tax audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.

5.Review and optimize tax processes, identify tax risks, and implement effective tax control frameworks.

6.Collaborate with external advisors and auditors as required.

7.Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company's business operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

●Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.

●Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably with a Big Four and/or within the automotive industry,exceptional candidates with slightly less experience may be considered.

●Strong knowledge of Indonesia tax laws and regulations.

●Proven experience handling tax audits and dealing with tax authorities.

●Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

●Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear, practical tax advice to business teams.

●Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

1.Possession of a professional tax qualification or certification.

2.Experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.

3.Familiarity with SAP systems.
